Sr Wong is Director of WCW Consulting Sdn Bhd and WCW Academy Sdn Bhd. He is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor (UK), Registered Consultant Quantity Surveyor (BQSM) and Certified Construction Manager (Malaysia) with over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, involving in major infrastructure and commercial development projects such as Formula One Racing Circuit (Sepang, KLIA), large commercial shopping malls, and some overseas tenders and construction and property market research assignments in Malaysia, Vietnam and other Middle Eastern countries.

He specialises in expert advice and assistance on commercial and contractual matters, including expert witness appointments, provision of professional services, assistance with adjudication, arbitration, mediation, dispute resolution and contract administration services. His experience also encompasses project management, pre and post contract administration, and claims preparation and negotiation, conduct in-house training and seminars. Sr Wong has accepted the appointments as the Arbitrator, Adjudicator, Mediator and Expert Witness in a number of construction and engineering disputes.

Sr Wong was a former Board Member of the RICS Malaysia and he is also the RICS Licensed Trainer to conduct training courses of Delays and Disruption, Loss and Expenses, Variations Management. He is one of the RICS Accreditation Panel Members for Q.S. degree programme. Also he is trained as a RICS Assessor since 2015 for the APC for new RICS members. As a passionate member of the Malaysian construction industry, he has frequently acted as a counsellor and mentor for prospective APC candidates in their assessments.

Sr Wong is also passionate train the next generation of construction professionals where he does part-time and guest lecturing in various private universities in Malaysia for quantity surveying undergraduate honours degree programme. He is a strong believer in lifelong learning and passionate about teaching and coaching.
